Got in about 4 casts on Wed. It was hot and humid (hence the ultra cool straw hat...lol) with a light wind 5-8 mph.
I am working on getting the arms starighter, letting the sinker get "up and over", slowing down on the turn and hitting late.

Not really trying to crush the cast but working on the technical parts.
Feedback welcome on this work in progress.

Tommy,
I dont now what it is but I see that the weight is to quick away. The rod is not compress enough. And there is some balance problems at the end. The tip is not straight at the end. In your turn the left arm stay to closs to your body. I have seen your OTG and find that this was the way you can compress the full rod.
Good luck

hi still looks good to me ,everybody always gets on about left arm.
i am not sure about this what i am going to say maybe someone can correct me.
i heard jw tried the hst evo did,nt like no good for him.i believe the hst he used to use had fulcrum butt.
if doing a very high swing is it not better using a softer rod to begin with to get your comfort zone and then progress to stiffer with confidence.
if the butt is stiff, when coming round is it possible to hang on to.
is this were some use longer hand spacings on longer rods. _________________ john |

Thanks for the replies and PM's. One of the great things about our sport is the willingness of casters to help one another.
The cast is still a work in progress. I'll continue to post vids and progress as long as it doesn't bore you guys....

| The left arm is looking good now, only thing i would suggest is to hold off on the turn until your left foot is planted, looks like a lot of rotation on 1 leg. |
