|
|
hi mates,
having fried my 7ht mag innards during my last attempt at hitting 200m..... i had set the reel at 7 secs after some adjustments and this had caused some of the parts in the 7ht mag to kinda burn as i was left with alot of tiny plastic parts( from a disc part i think.) i have since ordered new parts from daiwa uk. may i ask what is the start time commonly used for field work with 125gm. i certainly don't want to fry this one again.

you should be able to start your reel at any time unless its female then mornings might not be a good idea _________________ N.T.C NASTY TOURNAMENT CONVERSIONS.

7 seconds?
My 7ht mag runs for about 2 minutes because the mags don't kick in until far higher revs than can be achieved with a handle flick!
The standard reel kicks in at approx 13500 revs _________________ C.A.P.I

I hear that Worzel had a 1000 metre aggregate on 4 leads on the 7ht mag today - first person to do it on that reel. Great chucking _________________ QTC Monochrome
