minima4 guides have you used them yet
and is there any benifits that is standing out,
or are they just bling.
as the look ok and i will be building a braid carp rod up with them.
plus a CM up for catfishing on braid.
As for casting not sure as yet.... _________________ TO THE POWER OF X

Personally I wouldn't class the Minima4 guides as bling, they are just a well designed basic guide with no frills attached. Like Abu reels they do a job they were never intended for.
IMO the benefits are the weight being lighter than most Fuji guides and the fact that the ring size to frame size is better than Fuji....like the size 10 frame has an inside diameter equivalent to a size 12. Plus there is less chance of accidental breakage because the ring inserts are high grade stainless steel instead of ceramics.
All in all, they should help casting not hinder IMO
The price will obviously play a big part too.

I've used them a fair bit now for casting and they are good. As Tom said, they perform as well as Fuji's but are lighter so must help!!!
Why not tape a set onto a casting rod to try before you build one of the fishing rods??? _________________ C.A.P.I
